Biography:

Starla Haze fell from a star and into the UK burlesque scene in 2007. A dazzling burlesque performer, her distinctive performances have captured the hearts and ruffled the feathers of audiences across the North of England. Trained in fine art, photography, film and tattooing, and taking her inspiration from literature, film and art, Starla combines her flair for the visual with a wild imagination and a passion for dance.
Starla combines classic burlesque and comedy with a penchant for the bizarre and extravagant to create unique and spectacular burlesque performances.
Starla Haze will take you on a good old adventure in high seas to exotic lands, in what always promises to be an unforgettable performance from the UK's very own "Golden Girl".

Starla is an up-and-coming burlesque performer whose distinctive routines encompass classic burlesque, cheesecake & comedy acts, horror/gorelesque routines and fire performance forthcoming.
CURRENT ACTS:
"Fire Goddess" Fan Dance - Starla becomes the 'golden girl' in her signature fan dance performed to Sonny Lester's "Seduction of the Virgin Princess." This is a classic and elegant routine using 5ft red feather fans which incorporates belly dance moves. Visually stunning in red and gold.
*A version of this act is also currently being developed using fire fans*
"Hey Sailor!" - A cheesecake sailor girl ditches scrubbing the decks for a bottle of rum and discovers her macho adventuring side! Performed to "The Sailor's Hornpipe" & "Drunken Sailor".
"Bubonic Balloon Pop" - A macabre twist on a burlesque classic! Gorelesque/horror themed act, set in the dark days of the Black Death....Starla is the Plague Doctor, who, on discovering that she has contracted the dreaded disease, has just the cure....
FORTHCOMING ACTS:
"Lady Lazarus" - A gorelsque/horror/circus themed routine, and definitely not for the feint hearted! Details to follow.
"The Girl Who Fell From A Star" - a spectacular signature act in blue and silver, currently under development. Ethereal and unique, this act will be a fusion of the classic and contemporary.
