The Dead Dolls has twice been voted as part of the top 10 best dance troupes/choreographers in the city.This year 2010 the Dead Dolls moved all the way up to #2 . We were the only Burlesque troupe or individuals to be mentioned in the Dance category! Quite amazing really. We were the only burlesque group to be included among the ballet and contemporary dancers. wheeee

from a formal contemporary dance training background to 'real and authentic' modern stripping she's been there, did it, done it, what-ev.
She has been involved with activist verbatim theatre and guerilla street theatre
(before the current trendy term of 'flashmobs' ) ;-p.
Written up in a book about Montreal's nightlife .

The troupe and Velma has also been in 4 gallery photo exhibits in the past year and painted by 2 artists.

occasionally klassy (note the 'k' ) and certainly sassy.
from a retired stripper routine to a full out historically accurate baroque dance routine to lil' bit of sultry smooth dancing , bouncy sambas or west african dance . Velma likes to mix it up and play with the motifs .
As part of the Dead Dolls troupe she enjoys the playfulness and sheer outright sexiness of her fellow performers.
